Track Name: A Tale For Two Lovers Pt.1
At the age of 11, they met just before World War 2,
Though they were young it felt so true,
For five whole years they were side by side, never separated, never lost sight,
Of what was true, what was real to them until 6 years,
Rolled by he was gone, he was fighting for her life,
Underage and unprepared he fought for King and Country,
Though at times they were both scared, he knew when he hit land he might not come home,
Eventually he was in her arms, turned down medals and bought a ring.

This is a tale for two lovers,
How they fell in love with each other,
How two hearts become one,
From beginning to end.

Two more years passed and they got married,
And watched their lives pass by,
Having two boys, having fights and all those good times,
One day she knew her mind started to change,
She knew their faces but not their names,
And he stayed there right by her side,
Even through the 5 hours, he was sat on the other side of the door as he heard her cry,
She'd forgotten who he was in a minute or so.

This is a tale for two lovers,
How they fell in love with each other,
One day she knew her mind was not the same,
Cause his name didn't ring so true.

He was on his own for nearly 10 more years,
Until his heart decided to close up and give in,
And finally they resuscitated him just for one time,
As his heart started again,
He looked at his son and said,
Don't let them start it again,
I've had enough of this life, let me see your Mother again.

This is a tale for two lovers,
How they fell in love with each other,
One day she knew her mind was not the same,
But their hearts were still one.

Now he floats down British waters,
And she is sat at her view,
Hoping one day he'll get stuck,
By that tree with a view.
Track Name: A Tale For Two Lovers Pt.2
Their eyes met across a crowded ballroom,
He finally plucked up the courage and he asked her dance,
Heart beat raised, cheeks red he took her hand,
Without a moments hesitation he rushed her to the centre of the dance floor,
And though they'll never say this truly was love at first sight,
For 3 years later a ring adorned her finger,
And though family tragedy struck and the wedding was put off,
Their love stayed true for a year later those church bells chimed.

This is a tale for two lovers,
How they fell in love with each other,
how two hearts become one,
From beginning to end.

3 more years passed the came their only daughter,
7 more years then came their only son,
And through the fights, the good times they learned from one another,
Until one day the Doctor's words changed it all,
His lungs began to harden and his breath fell short,
And she stayed there right by his side,
Even though he was weak he held her tight like it was that first dance,
And continued to do so until he drew his last breath.

This is a tale for two lovers,
How they fell in love with each other,
Although his hearts stopped and he is now gone,
Their love would always stay.

She was on her own for only 2 more years,
Until her lungs decided to close up and give in,
The cancer struck and it quickly whisked her away,
And although she never said,
She knew she'd be okay,
She finally reached her end,
She was going to see her love again.

And sure she died with no hair,
But a smile on her face she did wear,
And sure he died with no air in his lungs,
A tale for two lovers must be sung.

And now they lay in peace together,
With a headstone of their own,
Two hearts lain together,
Two lovers lain together.

This was the tale of four lovers,
And how they fell in love each other,
Two tales not quite the same,
Two stories for four lovers.
